FRE$H P
FRE$H P, an entertainer and independent artist coming from Tampa, Florida, has been rapping since elementary school, but took the music game seriously when he served in the military in 2015. He then took initiative to do the groundwork to become a serious artist by finding the right team and foundation. He caught the attention of Alex, the CEO of Out Your League Entertainment through a performance which he ended up signing with the label. “He is a man of his word and has lots of integrity, which I feel is very important to the growth and success of my career.” The Tampa music scene in Tampa is continuously growing and gaining numerous recognitions from different labels with diverse upcoming artists in the making. He describes the music scene in Tampa as very diverse such as hood, cultural, and even poetry.
He recently dropped his latest project called “I Am Him” and will be releasing more. He states that “This project came about during a rough point in my life where reality was hitting me, and I didn't know if I should continue to pursue my music career at the time.” He was drifting away from music, then later revived his inspiration when he started driving trucks for a living. He mentions how he would constantly listen to beats on the road and didn’t even realize that he was effortlessly rapping as he was driving. He later collectively put a lot of the ideals and pieces together to put together his project. FRE$H P admits that it was the best album because it showed lots of versatility from spitting bars to sentimental vulnerability to club music. His two favorite tracks include “Emotions” and “This One’s For you.” “Emotions” touch base with events that happened while being in a dark place in my life, and “This One’s For You” is dedicated to the love of his life.
When people first meet him as an artist, they are always curious to see what type of show he’ll be putting on because of his set costumes. According to FRE$H P, one of his fan favorite tracks include “Relationship Goals.” As an artist, he tries to make his music as realistic as possible that relates to real-life situations and being able to share a connection with his audience. It’s more than just the cars and jewelry when it comes to his music. He claims that “Relationships are more than just being picture perfect. In which this song delivers the reality behind closed doors amongst relationships.” Inside the song, he shares both the male and female perspectives to expand my creative spectrum. Aspirations outside of music include stand-up comedy and skits because of his big personality.
One of his long-term goals consists of becoming a businessman outside of music. “In 5 years from now, I would like to seek financial freedom and be able to move as I please.” His manager mentors him in not only music, but in business so he can understand the back-end work. He chose to differ from other artists by investing in my knowledge of the business industry in achieving generational wealth. He advises others to remain focused no matter how hard it gets because that will be the hardest obstacle you face when life hits.
